Akhbar Birbal story

Story of businessman and painter

A person named Kishore lived in Akbar's kingdom. Kishore was a talented painter. He used to spend his life drawing. Because he was very good at painting, he was famous all over the state. Rich people from far flung areas used to urge him to make his portrait. Kishore used to spend a lot of time in making a picture, because he used to gather all his information earlier and that is why his pictures seemed to be alive. But he was not able to earn a lot of money and most of the money earned was spent in the purchase of raw materials for drawing.

One day a rich businessman invited Kishore to draw a portrait. The teenager went to the businessman's house hoping that it would give him good money for his work. He stayed there for a few days and worked hard to satisfy the merchant with his painting.

But the businessman was a miser. When the picture was completed after a few days of hard work, Kishore took him to the businessman.

The stingy businessman thought in mind, "This picture is really great, but if I praised its beauty, I would have to pay a hundred coins of gold to the teenager." So the merchant started looking for mistakes in the picture. He said, "You turned my hair white and showed me that I am old." I will not pay it. "

The teenager was shocked. He did not know that the merchant did not want to pay him painting money, so is finding mistakes in the painting. Kishore said, "My boss! If you want, I make this picture again. So he covered the white hair. But when the businessman saw the redrawn picture, he started making mistakes in it. He said, "I have one eye smaller than the other. I will not pay you for this nonsense picture. "

Kishore again offered to improve the picture and went there, asking for some time to make the painting. Every time the teenager would take pictures with the businessman, but he would show more mistakes in it. When the teenager finally got tired of the businessman, he went to Birbal to ask for help.

Birbal tells Kishore that he invites the businessman to come to Birbal's house. On coming to the merchant's house, Birbal said to the merchant, "This man says that he has made a living picture like you wanted. But he did not like you. "

The merchant said, "Right!" This picture does not look like me from anywhere. "

Birbal said to Kishore, "Okay Kishore! Make another picture of this man as you like. Then he turned to the merchant and said, "Please come tomorrow and get your picture. But you have to pay a thousand gold coins, because I have seen that when a teenager makes a painting, there is no mistake in that. I do not have to work very hard to find mistakes.

The next day when the merchant came, Birbal took him to a room. A picture was kept in the room. He was covered with clothes. He was surprised when the merchant removed the cloth. It was not a picture but a mirror. Birbal said, "It's just like you." I hope you don't find any fault in this. "

The businessman realized that he had lost to Birbal. In addition to the one hundred gold coins of the picture, he had to give one thousand gold coins to the painter.
